Mr Emmanuel Archibong Bassey is the Managing Director of Pamol (Nigeria) Limited, the Calabar-based Natural rubber business subsidiary of the DN TRE AND RUBBER PLC Group.
 
He holds a first degree in Zoology from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka. He is an alumnus of the Lagos Business School, IESE Business School, University of Nerarra Barcelona, Spain and Kellogg School of Management, Evanston, Illinois, USA respectively. He has attended many senior management training programmes both in Nigeria and overseas amongst which is the cross posting to Pamol plantations, Malaysia.

He joined Pamol (Nigeria) Limited in the year, 1982 as a Management Trainee. Having been identified with outstanding qualities early in his career, he rose through the various Management cadres in quick succession and became the Rubber Operations Director in 1994.

Having displayed a high level of positive leadership style as Operations Director for twelve years, he was subsequently appointed the Managing Director on 1st January, 2006. As the Managing Director of the rubber business subsidiary of the DN Tyre and Rubber Nigeria Group, he has been able to turn around the fortune of the Company to become a major player in the rubber industry within the West African Coast.

His hobbies include traveling, reading and swimming. He is married with children.
